Reporting... Reporting... Current place where Siok is: Costa Sand (Pasir Ris). Okay.. Kinda lame on the first line. Cause I am kinda bored right now and my eyes are closing, but I am waiting together with my mum for my dad to come here as everyone is aslp except she and me. She was just sitting there and look at the tee-vee, while I am here looking on my lappy screen. I WANT MY SLEEP!! Haha... First day in chalet is so boring! I don't see the different of spending today at home and at here. The only difference is the wireless here is so lousy! Haha.. But Thank God, somehow my mom and my sis managed to change our room to the room that is just infront the swimming pool and I manage to kope the wireless somehow even I am inside the room. Even though it is only 1 bar of signal and sometime the signal will be gone, but it is better than nothing. And the another difference is it just made me more difficult to run out! But nevertheless, I managed to run out for CG today! Haha.. CG is totally awesome and fun. Ryan eventually comes out with some lame games and the fun thing is that we all sabo-ed ELYN! Heehee... (Okay.. Mom started to feel bored and walk ard.) And Nick preached a great message. It helps us to see our church's Vision more than just a statement to us but something that is close in our heart. Let me asks you... How many of you actually know your school's Vision? Haha.. Admit it... I am one of those that does not know my school's Vision. Haha... Maybe you know, but do you really kept it in your heart and carry it out? Church's Vision: Raise up a generation of people who are willing to give God the best years of their lives and God will use this generation to impact all levels of society and all walks of life! Did you ever really thinks about what all these Vision is about? For me, I just know it but does not really knows what it really means apart from the surface and what it takes to this Vision. "Raise up a generation of people who are willing to give God the best years of their lives" Are you willing to GIVE? Give: Willing to give for others and for a higher cost. Best Years of your life: How to you want to live your life for? For yourself? Or for Others? All these are just a matter of decision of how you wants to live your life for? "The years of your life is NOT what it's matter, but your life in the years MATTER!" For me, I just do not want to live my life purposeless and meaningless. I do not want to live my life that is just for Me, Myself, and I. I do not want to live my life to sleep and sleep and doing nothing. I want to live a life that is for Others and for God! When I look back to my life in the future, I want to say, "WOW!! My life have been fully used and have made impacts and not wasted! I love my life!". When I look back to my life, I do not want to say, "I have been wasting all my years and doing nothing great. Life is BORING!". And there is this powerful thing about LOVE and LOYALTY! Love is like eating sweet stuffs like cakes and sweets. The taste will gone once. Loyalty is like drinking red wine. You will slowly taste it, and the taste and the love will be locked inside your heart. You can have love and not loyalty. But when you have loyalty, you will have both. Wasn't this something amazing? I want to be someone that is LOYALTY! Loyal to God and to Church. No matter what happens, I will still hang on and stay loyal! :D P.S Dad is not here yet.... YAWN!! |
